Our valued patients start off with a complimentary consultation, where our Capture ID system takes detailed photos, readings, and measurements to determine the best course of treatment. This state-of-the-art imaging system brings the patient in on every part of the process, allowing you to be a part of the decision making — and clearly understand why certain treatments are recommended.

Dr. Jacob Torres & Amanda DeLong
Founders
Founders Amanda and Dr. Jacob Torres are happy to bring quality aesthetic services to San Antonio.
While being busy in their everyday lives, raising their children, they also like to workout and take care of themselves. They both wanted to bring a passionate team of professionals together while using technology to offer the best services possible. They also wanted to do it with a purpose. Introducing Valor. JAAB MedSpa is not just a MedSpa. It is a part of the community that donates money to Valor Never Alone, a non-profit 501 C3 company that supports single mothers with everyday essentials.
Both Amanda and Dr. Torres were raised by single mothers and believe that all women should feel confident and beautiful. Dr. Torres is the founder of the Institute for Functional Health. His goal was to bring the same quality customer service and care that his patients have gotten used to in the clinic to JAAB. When not working, the J and A of JAAB is out and about with the kids, spending time with family or at the coast creating memories.
Samantha Hutchinson APRN, FNP-BC
Nurse Injector
Samantha is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in Aesthetics and Injectables.
She is highly trained in several specialties including family medicine, neurology, and Intensive Care. As a proud graduate of Texas Tech University, she focused on research in the prevention of Coronary Disease and Alzheimer’s. As an active member in multiple National Nursing Organizations, Samantha has represented Central and San Antonio area constituents at the state level in optics related to nursing.
Samantha is a proud native of San Antonio. When not in the spa, she is active in the culture of her city, volunteering with several local organizations. Most of her time is spent with Fiesta San Antonio, Habitat for Humanity, and the San Antonio Food Bank.
Sam is happily married and a proud mother of two thriving children. She has a heart for travel, dance, music, and gardening. While her friends and family consider her an amateur foodie. When you visit our spa, share a favorite recipe with Sam!
Jodie Mandujano RN
Nurse Injector
Jodie has been a registered nurse since 2018. After nursing bedside in pediatrics, she decided to pursue advanced training in aesthetics.
Jodie has extensive specialized training and experience in neurotoxins, fillers, laser treatments – and advanced Skin Imaging with the Capture ID unit. Jodie’s goal is to find the most natural and vibrant look that each of her patients can achieve to bring out their best selves. She finds great joy in helping her patients realize their inner and outer beauty through aesthetics.

Jodie is a loving dog mom to two rescue pups and a dedicated plant mom. She spends her weekends perusing the local farmer’s markets and pop-up shops. Jodie loves all spicy foods, listening to true crime podcasts and Bad Bunny.

Ashley Castle LVN
Aesthetic Nurse
Ashley is an Aesthetic Nurse and Laser Specialist with over a decade of experience in the medical aesthetics industry.
Ashley holds a variety of education achievements; her credentials include The National Laser Institute, Ayurvedic Esthesiology at Aveda Institute, and Galen College of Nursing.

Ashley combines all of her skills to help her patients on their skincare wellness journey. She is devoted to educating her patients about the root causes of their concerns while collaborating with them to achieve effective and unique treatment plans.

As an Army wife of 16 years, and a working mother to two teenagers, Ashley understands that effectively taking care of other people begins with first taking care of yourself. As a military spouse, Ashley learned how to be understanding, dedicated, and reliable which has translated to the exceptional level of care she provides to her patients. Ashley has a true calling to empower her clients through the combination of individualized education and effective services to help her patients feel their best and live happier lives.

Christa Witherspoon
Patient Advocate
Energetic and enthusiastic are just two of the words that describe our “Sunshine with a Smile” Christa Witherspoon.
Christa hails from Norfolk, Virginia where she graduated from North Carolina Central University.
She is an experienced veteran when it comes to the art of customer service and genuinely enjoys building relationships with our patients and team. Her goal is to make sure every patient feels genuinely welcomed as soon as they walk through our doors.
When Christa is not pampering our patients, she spends most of her time with her family and friends, spoiling them with delicious home-cooked meals. She is passionate about working out, good music, good books, and allocating time for her own selfcare. Christa will be the smiling face welcoming you at our front desk, and she can’t wait to meet you!
